The
houseboats are moored in a private lagoon,
separated from the main river by an 30m x 20m
island. Across from this private island stretches
a 500m wide part of the Vaal River with Bird Island
in between the banks.
From
here there is approximately 55km of navigable
waters (including the Loch and other
tributaries), to be explored at your leisure.
